Knowledge is power.  

Know the condition of the home that you plan to buy or sell and you will have the power to negotiate to your best advantage.  A home inspection provides a visual and operational inspection of the components and systems of the home.  The report will make you well informed about the condition of the home from top to bottom, inside and out.  You will learn about existing or potential problems, as well as upcoming maintenance issues, so that you can best budget for repairs and replacements.

As I go through the home, I will note both major and minor deficiencies, possible safety hazards, and other areas of concern.  I will review and explain the items found with you so that you have a complete picture of the home's condition, and I will direct you to corrective solutions as necessary.  I would also be happy to show you how various systems in the home work and provide basic maintenance tips.  You will receive an easy-to-read, computer-generated report, complete with photographs and detailed explanations, to help you understand the implications of the findings.  

A typical home inspection covers the foundation, framing, roofing, plumbing, electrical, heating and cooling, exterior conditions and surfaces, and interior conditions and components.
